Dear Friends,
We are excited to tell you all about the visit of James Robson, Principal of Oak Hill, who will speak on “God and Dark Places: Where is your Love and Faithfulness?” He will expound Psalms 88 and 89 for us to bring us God’s word.
As you can see, the format of the event is very similar to last year, including a programme for children (see details below). The venue, Saffron Walden URC, and the times (2.30 – 4 and 5 – 6.30 with tea in between) are exactly the same as for 2025. Directions
Attendance, as usual, is free, but you do need to book. Simply email me on swbible.focus@gmail.com and I will reply with a confirmation of your place(s). If you would like to make a contribution towards our costs, you can put some money in the offering on the day or make a bank transfer, as you prefer. Our Donation Page.
To book places for children, please give us their name(s) and age(s). The programme details below are for the 4 – 14 age group. There will also be a supervised creche for 3-year-olds and under. The booking process in the same. With your booking, please also provide the name and mobile number of the adult who will be attending the main session. Let us know about any allergies or intolerances that may affect the child(ren).
To take advantage of the limited parking for disabled people only, please reserve a parking space with your booking.
The deadline for bookings is September 7th.
We also need to know by this date whether you have any allergies and dietary requirements which could affect what we offer you to eat in the interval. There is no charge for the refreshments.
